PRODUCT INNOVATION COURSE-KEEPER 2019
THE TWIN- BLADE:
Specifically to improve the course stability at low speed we developed the Twin-Blade Course-keeper designed with a double mounted blade.
The water stream arising between the blades is causing a strong automatic course correction and optimises the rudder stability of boat.
Specifically positive reactions are received from boat owners navigating at low speed and small waterways.
ELECTRIC DRIVEN OUTBOARD ENGINES:
Based on the enormous amount of requests received to support also the Electro driven boats on the market, we developed in cooperation with the engine suppliers a special new bracket making it possible to mount the Course-Keeper on the Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 - 4.0 and EPropulsion Navy 3.0 - 6.0 Outboard .

Actually we are focussing on the Course-Keeper type 2 to be mounted on the electro engines, but on special request we can also provide other types to be fitted on the developed new bracket.

THE BRACKETS: (FOR THE STANDARD CAVITATION PLATE)
By making use of extruded aluminium for the mounting bracket, the product is unbreakable and capable to resist high forces during mounting and use of the product.

Due to the strength of the brackets, it is possible to tighten the Allen screws sufficient to mount the Course-Keeper without drilling in the Cavitation plate.
Based on the various forms of lower engine parts and Cavitation plates by the different engine suppliers, it’s necessary to select the right mounting bracket fitting the engine.

THE BRACKETS: (Z-DRIVE)
To be able to mount the Course-Keeper on a Z-drive engine the so called Volvo-Penta bracket need to be used.
​
The developed bracket has the possibility to vary the distance between the mounting points to fit exactly the size of the Cavitation plate.
​
In addition we can offer a specific Volvo-Penta bracket to fit a duo-propeller.
Blade detail
THE BLADES:
The blades are laser cut from a 3mm thick saltwater resistance Aluminium (ALMG3) and coated with epoxy coating.
We’ve actually five different blade sizes in our program to be able to fit the exact size needed for the different boat lengths.
